The Occasions Group is seeking aDigital Press Operatorto run a digital printing machine that produces high-quality, full color occasional items for our dealers and channel partners.

Your Responsibilities:

• Make the appropriate and productive job setting choices at the workstation and color server.

• Ensure required resources are available in order to complete job (media, fonts, graphics, etc.)

• Perform basic maintenance.

• Calibrate stocks required for an upcoming daily workload.

• Evaluate output and make adjustments to obtain a desired level of image quality.

• Respond appropriately to fault, error, and alert messages.

• Contact and interface with customer support as necessary.

• Perform daily cleaning, replenishing of consumables, and replacing of filters & bottles and waste containers.

• Monitor and report environmental changes that may impact equipment performance (humidity & temperature).

• Ensure proper paper handling, conditioning and loading.

• Make image quality and productivity recommendations to workflow.

Your Shift :Monday-Friday 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm, overtime as needed

You Must Have:

• Basic mechanical abilities a plus, but not required.

• Knowledge of various types of printing systems.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Desktop application and DFE color correction experience a plus, but not required.

• Knowledge of or experience with image editing applications a plus, but not required.

• Previous Indigo certification training preferred.

Requirements Within This Position:
* Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
* Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
* Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.
* Frequently required to move inside the facility.
* Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).

We Would Also Prefer:
* Ability to distinguish colors.
* Experience in a production related environment.
* High school education or equivalent.
