The Opportunity:

In this exciting role, you will deploy and sustain Lean Production Systems (LPS), you will build Capabilities in Operational Excellence (e.g. Lean Six Sigma), and you will support and lead Focused Improvement projects and initiatives as well as oversee Business Process Management.

What you'll do:

  • You will drive LPS deployment and maturity by applying advanced lean knowledge and experience to attain site goals through new ways of working

  • You will coach and mentor site personnel on LPS, RCA, and other continuous improvement methodologies and develop innovative applications to tools to address complex problems

  • You will support, lead, and coach focused improvement and optimization projects/initiatives covering Safety, Quality, Delivery, Engagement and Cost (SQDEC).

  • As a subject matter expert, you will conduct training in continuous improvement methodologies and mentors others in the application of these methods

  • You will facilitate/assist business process management and the teams supporting continuous improvement with an end-to-end customer focused process approach

  • You will support all site functions/areas in problem solving ,continuous improvement, and visualization of performance. Key contributor to identifying site strategic opportunities.

  • You will contribute to/Drives business process management and helps to ensure sites have installed and are effectively practicing business processes

  • You will comply with all Site Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) requirements, never put oneself and others at safety & health risks, and report any workplace accidents, near misses and hazards as soon as practicable.

Who you are:

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree and have 12 years professional experience (e.g. manufacturing, quality, materials management in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry)

  • You have a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement programs with quantifiable business results

  • You are able to coach, mentor, and develop all levels of the organization, to include senior leaders.

  • You foster a culture of continuous improvement

  • You advanced facilitation skills and change agent abilities, with the ability to lead people indirectly and through influence

  • You have a deep analytical and problem solving skills and advanced level knowledge of Root Cause Analysis

Preferred:

  • Certification as a lean master, LSS Master Black Belt or equivalent

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of Oceanside, California is $135,000 - $251,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
