Business Line Manager

Molecule Delivery Systems & Applications

Saugerties, NY

The Business Line Manager develops and executes product offerings and strategies for a comprehensive and competitive response to customer FAB expansion and new customer FAB requirements. The objective is revenue growth and market expansion through overseeing sales and marketing collaboration with core Ceres business disciplines, Edwards Customer and Innovation Centers and Customers. This role also involves implementing a commercial synergy plan with other product company brands and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align efforts with overall business objectives.

Main Responsibilites

  • Develop and Implement Product offering response to Customer inquiries: Utilize semiconductor industry knowledge and Ceres product offering capabilities to arrive at competitive response to customer RFQs. Align with the divisional stakeholders on above mentioned strategy.
  • Product positioning and Roadmap Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of product positioning, applications capability and product gap and roadmap progression. Obtain marketing information from key customers and industry sources and Interface with other business disciplines to coordinate executions. Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content and promotional materials.
  • Commercial synergy plan:Design and implement a synergy plan to work with adjacent brands as well as our global sales & service organization.
  • Product Knowledge and Guidance:Collaborate and motivate existing high-performing sales and marketing team. Provide product guidance, technical, applications, sales, and marketing support for above team.
  • Market Analysis:Interface with Customer Centers and Internal market research sources to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Utilize findings to adapt strategies.
  • Customer Relationship Management:Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders internal and external.
  • Collaboration with Management & Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product development, operations, and other departments to align product offerings & sales and marketing efforts with overall business objectives. Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance; works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation. Respectfully takes direction from [supervisor/ manager]; other duties as assigned.

Education level

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant related field (MBA is a plus).

Relevant Previous experience (minimum years of experience to competently conduct the role, not total years of experience)

  • 10+ years' experience in semiconductor Process industry with emphasis in facilities and/or equipment
  • 5+ years' experience in a Sales & Marketing Role
  • 5+ years' experience in management

Knowledge areas/Skills (minimum level of knowledge to fulfill the role's responsibilities)

  • Proven experience in Semiconductor Fab process and Equipment
  • Strong understanding of high-tech products/services, market dynamics, and industry trends
  • Sales & Marketing experience in the high-tech industry.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Results-oriented with a history of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
