Department OverviewThe EEC SI (Elgin Experience Center for Solutions Integration), is host to
hundreds of Customers each year. The EEC SI is where customer
needs and technological solutions come together thru the Systems
Staging process. The EEC SI Engineering Team works with field teams
to develop the fine design details of a Radio Communications System
and to support the fundamental objective of Total Customer
Satisfaction.Job Description

In this role you will:

  • Manage and lead the Program Management team

  • Develop organizational talent

  • Organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.

  • Develop and manage program schedules to support the strategic direction of the organization.

  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors.

  • Develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.

  • Implement processes and manage changes to ensure program goals are accomplished

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, and timing for programs.

  • Facilitate team meetings weekly.

  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.

  • Present program status as required to different organization levels.

  • Work with key stakeholders to identify, analyze and assess program risks. Establish and track risk mitigation plans. Drive for closures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written.

  • Experience with launching end-to-end Software programs.

  • Ability to work on complex issues and develop resolutions where deep analytical skills and creativity is required

  • Proficient in Google Applications - GoogleSheets, Docs, Slides, and Drive

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and MS-Project

  • Certifications: PMP certification or Six Sigma Green or Black belt is preferred.

  • Ability to work with different levels from team members to Senior Leaders within the organization

  • Strong leadership and team building skills preferred.

  • Candidates must live in the Chicagoland area, to be considered for this position.

Basic Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or Technology

  • 5+years of technical experience working in a Manufacturing environment is required.

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
