HOW WILL YOU MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN

North Highland is seeking to hire a Project Manager to help our utility industry clients transform their business initiatives in their corporate and field systems areas.

YOU WILL:

  • Guide teams in the development of impactful deliverables for multiple work streams that create long-term change.

  • Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders that support ongoing projects and open the door to growth opportunities.

  • Identify the complex problems facing our clients and build plans that creatively address their challenges.

  • Put your team's best ideas into action through planning and management; uncover gaps and omissions that may exist in a plan or deliverables.

  • Facilitation of team meetings

  • Facilitation of design sessions

  • Providing project updates to the required stakeholders and project personnel per the project communications plan

  • Facilitation of project schedule inputs and updates

  • Creating, maintaining and communication the project Risk register

  • Creating, maintaining and communication the project organization chart

  • Maintaining and communicating on the project budget and forecast for the full scope of the funding project.

  • Maintain and completing System Design Life Cycle (SDLC) documentation throughout the lifecycle of the project.

IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

  • Public Utility industry and project experience (Hydro power, Electric and natural gas)

  • 6+ years of management consulting, advisory, professional services, and/or Big 4 consulting experience.

  • 7-10yrs of Sr. PM experience managing large and small projects/programs

  • Experience estimated project lift for multi-million-dollar projects/programs.

  • Strong understanding of project financials and corporate systems.

  • Strong communicator at all levels of an organization.

  • Strong PowerPoint experience, needed to create decks for meetings.

  • Creative ingenuity and a proven ability to find or design simple solutions to complex challenges.

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, or relevant work experience.A master's degree and/or professional certifications are bonuses.
