ABOUT THE POSITION
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Director (DEI) director is a strategic leadership team member of the University of Minnesota Extension. The director works collaboratively with college leadership, faculty, and staff to understand, foster and bring to life the college vision, strategic goals and integrated objectives for diversity, equity and inclusion. This position will collaboratively lead our college in living out our values where individuals from all racial and ethnic identities, age, nationality, social and economic status, sexual orientation, gender identities/expression, religion, and physical and mental abilities are able to thrive and be engaged.
The DEI Director will report to the dean of Extension and will collaborate on DEI analysis and initiatives.
