Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP, an AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking an experienced Attorney Recruiting Manager to be located in one of our U.S. offices. The manager will work closely with practice group leaders and the internal recruiting team on all aspects of the lateral associate and non-partner recruiting process across the Firm's domestic offices as part of an established, closely-knit recruiting team. Preferred candidates will have direct experience with lateral attorney hiring in the professional services industry or ideally in a large law firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with Practice Group Leaders on strategic hiring needs.
- Communicate with search firms and internal constituencies regarding hiring needs.
- Review candidate submissions and counsel Practice Group Leaders on qualified candidates.
- Review and analyze financial data in lateral partner questionnaire (LPQ).
- Communicate with the General Counsel's Office, Practice Group Leaders, and candidates regarding new hire conflicts paperwork.
- Work with internal administrative departments to ensure the successful onboarding of new hires
REQUIREMENTS:
- Effective written and oral communication skills;
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities;
- Experience liaising with search firms and sourcing candidates;
- Demonstrated client service mentality and professional demeanor;
- Self-motivated team player;
- Attention to detail;
- Maintains confidentiality;
- Advanced technology skills (Microsoft Office, excel and applicant tracking systems);
- Travel, occasional, as needed; and
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five (5) years of recruiting experience.
