Job Title: IT Technical Analyst/Informatics Support Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Evaluate software solutions against requirements and recommend options.
  • Enforce data governance policies to ensure high-quality data capture.
  • Maintain knowledge of CFR 21 Part 11, and EMA and FDA data-related guidelines.
  • Identify gaps in projects and strategies and recommend resolution methods.
  • Lead the identification and implementation of lab equipment automation and data management solutions to optimize and streamline data processes.
  • Assist in the analysis and troubleshooting IT infrastructure performance, identify, and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with local & global IT professionals to ensure the IT infrastructure is reliable, secure, and scalable.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to collect detailed and accurate business requirements and the creation / execution of test plans.
  • Document the IT infrastructure's configuration and procedures, ensuring that they are up-to-date and easily accessible to other IT professionals. Assist with training and documentation with new system implementations / upgrades.
  • Develop meticulous test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications to ensure software performance
  • Act as a key interface between the business and delivery team to ensure business needs are clearly understood, ensure communication between the parties is effective and user expectations are managed. Manage a variety of tasks concurrently and show flexibility of work patterns to meet timeframes and delivery.
  • Assess the impact of change on existing systems and processes and manage their impact in conjunction with service management teams to ensure change happens in a controlled way, with minimal disruption to business activities.
  • Communicate effectively with management to enhance their understanding of the opportunities and limitations of information systems
  • Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, relevant GxP compliance requirements and task assignments.
  • Maintain positive and cooperative communication and collaborate with all levels of employees, contractors, and vendors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Requires a Master's degree in Microbiology and 6 years of experience in job offered or 6 years of experience in the Related Occupation.
