PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Clean, and fuel diesel locomotives in accordance with governmental and company regulations.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Supplies locomotives with fuel and sand
• Cleans cabs of locomotives and stocks with supplies needed
• Uses cleaning agents to clean locomotives, equipment and Diesel House
• Supplies tools and parts to maintenance personnel
• Operates forklift, bobcat, trackmobile and moves locomotives in and out of the Diesel House

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous mechanical experience and/or knowledge of rolling equipment preferred
• CDL license preferred
• Must be able to work any of three shifts including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
• Must have ability to wear safety equipment and work in an environment with grease, oil and cleaning agents

Medical Requirements:
