An Outside Sales Executive is what we call a forward-thinking, incentive driven, sales powerhouse. They seek out new business through outside and inside sales efforts as well as maintain existing business relationships. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the Outside Sales Executive will focus on building and cultivating relationships.Echo Global Logistics is a leading provider of technology-enabled transportation management services. As a third-party logistics provider, we simplify transportation management for our clients and carriers, handling crucial tasks so they can focus on what they do best. From coast to coast, dock to dock, and across all major transportation modes, Echo connects businesses that need to ship their products with carriers who transport goods quickly, securely, and cost-effectively.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Build, maintain and manage account relationships through constant contact and advocacy
Offer solutions and solve problems for client's shipping needs
Qualify new prospects via inside and outside sales effort
Create sales presentations to prospective and existing customers
Engage prospective clients at all levels
Reach and exceed targeted revenue goals by closing new business
Proactively offers advice and solutions in solving Client's problems
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of direct sales and business development experience
2-3 years of Transportation or Logistics experience required
Bachelors degree preferred
Enthusiastic and outgoing personality
Aggressive and competitive nature
Quick learner who is successful at multi-tasking
Proven "take charge performer" who has both initiative and a strong bias for action
Ability to work remotely
Strong oral and written communication skills
