Job Description

Danfoss is seeking a hands-on, flexible Senior Sourcing Project Manager to join our team. You will work in a team-oriented environment and will have exposure to many different processes and tasks.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Lead, manage, and facilitate new procurement projects while ensuring the right portfolio of suppliers through sourcing activities.

  • End-to-end responsibility in the delivery of capacity and cost saving project levers by ensuring that projects are managed properly and meet all. expectations.

  • Manage and coordinate procurement activities in New Product Development and Innovation projects.

  • Create cost savings pipeline (constrained and unconstrained) for technical and sourcing levers by assigning stakeholders and getting approval for projects.

  • Create solid business cases truly reflecting Total Cost of Ownership.

  • Communicate with suppliers, internal customers, management and stakeholders about progress, risks and roadblocks.

  • Facilitate structured problem solving.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain.

  • 2 years experience leading a team, executing a project pipeline, and ensuring constant improvements in an electronics environment.

  • 2 years experience in global sourcing and supply chain or operations.

  • Experience may be gained concurrently.
