OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANYFox TV Stations

FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.

Give us your examples of aggressively pursuing important and relevant enterprise stories. Our reporters are great in live situations, develop their OWN sources and scoff at press release news.

AND our reporters embrace the new, evolving area of presenting LIVE content on multi-platforms, not just traditional TV News packages.

In addition, you'll:

Be fluid at using the latest technology to gather and distribute content in real time across multiple platforms,

Know current events inside and out; and have a desire to mine for and share information in a compelling manner,

Be a multi-faceted journalist who can write, present, produce, and share information on-air, and especially ONLINE LIVE in an unscripted, conversational manner.

Embrace the evolution and vision of the newsroom and be a good newsroom citizen.

Please have 3 years reporting experience. B.A. or equivalent degree in Journalism preferred.
