$1,000 hiring bonus paid out in two payments of $500 each (3 months and 6 months after hire).

StreetWorks, a program of Lutheran Social Service of MN, is a collaborative of youth-serving nonprofits that have provided street-based outreach to youth experiencing homelessness in the Metro area since 1994. We are the largest outreach collaborative in Minnesota focused on ending youth homelessness.

StreetWorks provides a coordinated intervention to meet the immediate needs of youth and to interrupt exploitation by providing valuable resources, connection to services, and regular interaction with a trustworthy adult.

Job Summary:

The Collaborative Training Administrator will provide leadership, direction, and delivery of outreach worker certification curriculum for StreetWorks Collaborative. This position will also maintain a regular outreach schedule to provide ongoing support for OWs and shadow shift training opportunities to new OWs. This position will work closely with other collaborative administrators and trainers to meet the ongoing needs of the StreetWorks Collaborative.

Job Requirements:
  • Three to five years of experience working with adolescents in transition. Outreach experience is preferred.
  • Must possess superior computer skills, and have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database software. Demonstrate ability to learn additional computer skills/programs as necessary.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to work and communicate directly with various level of staff and community members
  • Must be able to work varied hours (including nights and weekends) and accommodate numerous schedules
