We are a leading provider of Third-Party Administration (TPA) services to the Life and Annuities insurance industry. We own and operate intellectual property LifeSys that supports more than 7 million policies and 30 customers. We are in the middle of a significant Digital Transformation program that will further enhance our platform. We serve customers who are looking for cost optimization opportunities through TPA outsourcing and IT simplification (for open and closed blocks) as well as customers who are looking for a quick turnaround to launch new products with digital interaction capabilities.

To be able to address our growing business needs, we are looking for experienced Life Insurance Technical Solutions /Delivery Lead with deep application operations and support experience. Ideal candidate would be someone who has Information technology (IT) background and thorough understanding of various Life & Annuity products as well as supplemental health products that are offered through employers. A good understanding of legacy policy admin systems as well as the modern-day systems and application modernization in the Life Insurance industry will be a plus. Apart from their education, IT experience, and strong business knowledge, we are looking for someone who has strong client-interaction and presentation skills. Our goal is to ensure that our solutions are comprehensive, innovative and are future proof with a very clear ROI for our customers.

Responsibilities and Additional Qualifications:

  • Delivery of projects - implementation of Life Insurance Policy Admin systems and integrations
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to solution architecture for new policy administration solutions for closed block and open block requirements as well as for new product launch.
  • Provide guidance to business and functional requirements definition and prioritization/scoping of requirements and sizing of projects based on our preconfigured IP (Intellectual Property) and accelerators.
  • Actively contribute to the design of our Insurance Digital Platform accelerators and IP assets to support our market differentiation and delivery excellence.
  • Participate in the mapping of functional requirements to our available solutions for our Insurance industry BPaaS (Business Process as a Service) offering
  • Participate in pre-sales activities inclusive of participating in sales calls and proposal development
  • Knowledge and understanding of data and information management as it relates to OLTP and big data trends and issues within financial services businesses.
  • Experience with Variable insurance products and/or working with any of the major cloud providers (AWS, AZUR, or GCP) is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in interacting with customer's technical teams in solving infrastructure and Security issues

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of7 years of experience in IT Project delivery, solution architecture, business analysis, and technology implementation in full life-cycle engagements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in life Insurance developing solutions
  • 3 plus years of working in Agile DevOps to setup CI/CD processes
  • Experience with integrations with Insuretech platforms which include the configuration of APIs and Data extraction and integration
  • Experience with leading teams developing Insurance solutions and information security processes using industry leading Policy Admin platforms
