Job Title: Robotic Deployment Specialist

Location: [Flexible - Travel Required 70%]

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Robotic Deployment Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Robotic Deployment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation and utilization of our robotic solutions. This position involves extensive travel to client locations, where you will conduct training sessions for operators, troubleshoot any technical issues, and contribute to the overall success of our robotic deployments. Deployments consist of physically mapping the facility on-site, then improving the quality of the map & cleaning routes remotely using internal tools & software suite. The ideal candidate has interest and aptitude in both teaching operators & understanding of robotics software / hardware. We are willing to teach anyone who is willing & capable of learning.

Responsibilities:

  • On-Site Training: Conduct comprehensive training sessions for operators at client locations to ensure they are proficient in operating and maintaining our robotic solutions.
  • Technical Support: Provide on-site technical support to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during deployment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Customization and Optimization: Collaborate with clients to customize and optimize the robotic solution according to their specific needs and operational requirements.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to training materials, technical procedures, and client-specific configurations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, customer support, and engineering, to relay client feedback and contribute to continuous product improvement.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a positive experience throughout the deployment process.
  • Remote Support: Provide remote support and guidance to clients when necessary, addressing queries and ensuring a smooth post-deployment experience.

Qualifications:

  • Hands-On Experience: Previous experience in deploying and training operators on technology solutions, preferably in a robotic or automation context.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic technical understanding and problem-solving skills to address deployment-related challenges. No computer programming skills required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (70%): Adapt to different client environments and operational processes.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build positive relationships with clients.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in MS Suite: Create and deliver PowerPoint presentations recapping deployment results to customers.

Education:

  • A degree or certification in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.
