Deep understanding of the accounting close and consolidation processes and is an established Workday finance expert. Performs as needed, all complex system related activities. Identifies needs for Workday configuration changes, tests and implements needed changes. Understands of the impact to all changes. Assures all proper documentation exists to maintain accurate and complete financial statements. Solves complex problems related to the close and consolidation function and drives continuous improvement efforts and responds to configuration requests.Key Position Details:

Job Description:
Principle Responsibilities
- Works collaboratively with Human Resources and Supply Chain to understand optimal system solutions.
- Performs all complex system related activities related to period and year-end close.
- Anticipates customer needs and concerns.
- Partners with business to identify, test, and implement any Workday configuration changes.
- Looks for opportunities for efficiencies and implements process improvements across the accounting function.
- Oversees policies and procedures to the close process.
- Provides expertise knowledge, support and training needs regarding Workday.
- Designs solutions and implements change utilizing technology.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or information technology required
- 5 to 7 years of working with an integrated accounting system required
- 0 to 2 years Workday experience preferred

Lifting weight Up to 10 lbs. occasionally, negligible weight frequently
