Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Vault/Lock Specialist to join our amazing culture. The Vault/Lock Specialist is expected to be skilled in locking hardware, safes, and vaults. In this role, you will install equipment and service/support existing customers by responding to service calls. This position is responsible for installation, service, and/or preventative maintenance for banking customers to include Vault/Lock requests for a variety of locking mechanisms from basic drawer locks to more complex locking devices such as time-locks, afterhours depository units, main vaults, secure keyways, and other systems unique to the banking industry. Who You Are

The Vault/Lock Specialist is expected to be skilled in locking hardware, safes, and vaults. In this role, you will install equipment and service/support existing customers by responding to service calls. What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"

  • Respond to routine and complex service calls and scheduled maintenance calls, including emergency and afterhours service calls on a timely basis; will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
  • Uses solid troubleshooting skills to determine and complete necessary repairs and replacements as needed; exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining optimal solutions.
  • Completes accurate and detailed service reports for customer and Convergint to allow for accurate invoicing and job cost tracking.
  • Always presents a professional image of Convergint Technologies in appearance and behavior; seeks opportunities to promote the services offered by the company.
  • Communicates with customers on scheduling, troubleshooting findings, possible solutions, and the final resolution to their service issue.
  • Participates in the on-call rotation for service needs after hours and weekends.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You'll Need

  • Working knowledge and proven experience on locking hardware, time locks, safes, vaults, and afterhours depositories.
  • Working experience with drilling safes, preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Customer Focus - Maintaining awareness of and seeking to meet of the needs and wants of the customer.
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written.
  • Adaptability - Responds effectively to changes in situation or information.
  • Must be able to pass high level security clearance.
