Full-time, nine-month, tenure-track or lecturer position in the Business Department at the Crookston campus of the University of Minnesota starting August 2024 or as negotiated at time of hire. Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive fringe benefits package is offered. Responsibilities of the position also include:
1) Teaching basic and advanced courses at the undergraduate level
2) Research in area(s) of expertise,
3) Develop and maintain strong ties to the finance industry to benefit our programs, student experience and student employment opportunities and
4) Regular on campus office hours and engagement in service activities is expected on the University of Minnesota Crookston campus and/or community.
Tenure-track faculty appointments are required to establish and maintain their own research program with a focus on pedagogy or research in an area relevant to the business field . Tenure-line appointments carry a teaching load of no more than 24 credits annually (typically 3-4 courses per semester).
Full-time lecturer appointments are not expected to establish a research agenda. Full-time lecturer appointments carry a teaching load of no more than 30 credits annually.
