PI Meghan Swanson seeks to hire a Research Assistant for executing all tasks associated with a NIH funded research study. The research study is in collaboration with the Infant Brain Imaging Study Early Prediction Project (https://ibis-network.com/infant/). The Early Prediction Project protocol includes MRI brain scans, behavioral and clinical assessments, EEG recordings, eye tracking, and home language recordings. Participants are infants at increased likelihood for autism by virtue of having an older sibling with autism. The ideal candidate will have the ability and desire to learn new skills. They will also be detail-oriented and have the ability to prioritize information in a timely manner. The candidate should have a desire to work with children and families, and be a strong communicator in verbal and written situations.
Responsibilities:
(50%) Assist in collecting home language recording data
(20%) Carry out independent tasks
(20%) Carry out lab management tasks
(10%) Pursue independent research
