Roles and Responsibilities
- Fabrication and installation of HVAC systems in commercial buildings
- Gas piping
- Equipment installation
- Performing customer-based activities, which will require the employee to possess traits of decisiveness, initiative, tact, judgement, integrity, dependability, and the ability to communicate in a credible manner
- Some out-of-town travel may be required
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other allied duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Requirements
- Math skills and mechanical aptitude
- Written and verbal communication skills sufficient to read and apply manufacturers' installation instructions and to clearly communicate with commercial customers, suppliers, and company personnel
- Ability to handle daily job stress, as it ranges from minimal to extreme, based on varying factors of weather, site consideration, time constraints, travel requirements, and customer needs
- Interest and initiative in maintaining HVSC skills through a combination of self-study, corporate training, workshops, and other development opportunities
- Current, valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- High school diploma
