About the Unit/Department/Team

LHS Radiology is a dynamic team that works directly with patients, providers, and team departments.

Mission for Position

Provide quality, diagnostic studies and procedures for the interpretation of disease processes.

Duties & Responsibilities OR Position Summary

• Perform diagnostic radiology exams and procedures
• Interact professionally with patients and staff
• Collaborate with team players to complete tasks
• Process imaging and report requests
• Schedule patients and answer department phone
• Critically think in a dynamic workspace

Position Type

Variable schedule with clinic coverage, hospital coverage, weekends, call, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiology (24-month course) or more, or a new graduate awaiting board exam
• Currently registered by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or soon to be
• Maintain CEU's as set by the ARRT
• Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with physician staff and patients.
• Basic computer skills, Knowledge of Excel and Power Point desired
• Familiar with EMR systems, PACS systems, and EPIC desired.
