The successful candidate is expected to establish and maintain a professional goal to become an outstanding consultant through the use of research-based, best practices in accessibility and inclusion. Consultants are expected to be team players and collaborators in innovative work initiatives and projects with the Center for International Disability Advocacy and Diplomacy leadership team. They are expected to be available for consulting online or in-person as needed for special projects.

Job Description
St. Cloud State University is seeking applications for potential adjunct consulting positions in the CIDAD department.

This adjunct position will remain open for 1 year to allow departments' access to candidate pools when there is a need to hire an adjunct to teach a course(s) during defined academic semester(s).

Individuals interested in being considered for part-time, on campus or online adjunct consulting positions in the CIDAD department should have the following qualifications:
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Evidence of leadership and background experience in accessibility and inclusion training and consulting
  • English proficiency
  • Strong collaboration and team building skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Evidence of demonstrated ability to work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in disability related field
  • Experience in content and/or curriculum creation
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong speaking and/or moderating skills
