POSITION:  QUALITY ENGINEER SUPERVISOR

Our Bayport, MN location has an opening for a Quality Engineer Supervisor for our Patio Door plant.

The Quality Engineer Lead/Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of quality technicians and driving a culture of quality.  This position will lead or support quality engineering projects in operations and new product and technology development. 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Deep understanding of quality systems and standards.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to gain alignment across a cross-functional team.
  • Track record of driving a culture of quality and accountability.
  • Experience with software such as Power BI, Excel or Minitab, ability to analyze data to detect trends and abnormalities.
  • Experience with the design and maintenance of current and future business intelligence applications used by various data streams (i.e., Power Apps, Power BI dashboards).
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical degree is required.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred

PROFIT SHARING:

During 2022, each eligible Andersen employee will receive $1,000 for each full fiscal quarter they are actively employed and fully vaccinated against COVID-19. An eligible employee hired during a quarter will receive a prorated payment based on the number of days employed during the quarter. Those eligible include fully-vaccinated regular full-time and part-time employees (at least 20 hours per week) who are not subject to a collective bargaining agreement. These and other terms and conditions of Andersen’s 2022 Profit Sharing Plan, including the definition of full vaccination against COVID-19, are subject to change or termination without notice.
