Job Description
Responsibilities:
 
  •           Lead the software development, eLearning production, and quality assurance team members in accordance with the product roadmap
  •           Partner closely with project managers to ensure development resources are allocated and performing to expectations
  •           Collaborate with product management team members to develop a cohesive understanding of the product roadmap and product development initiatives
  •           Implement agile product development processes that allow for rapid response to market opportunities
  •           Facilitate cross-functional support for development team members when needed
  •           Coach and grow the professional capabilities of all development team members
  •           Collaborate with quality assurance manager to ensure efficient testing procedures are followed which include automation, risk analysis, functional, integration, and regression testing
  •           Work with team members to produce timely and accurate estimates for development projects
  •           Understand product priorities in accordance with the direction given by product managers, and ensure development team members have clarity of priorities
  •           Monitor technology trends to ensure product initiatives stay current
  •           Participate as an active member of the Atomic Learning leadership team, ensuring all development activities align to organizational strategic initiatives
  •           Ensure all development team members hold personal accountability for the key performance indicators they are responsible for impacting
Desired Skills & Experience:
 
  •           Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related business field
  •           Master of Business Administration preferred
  •           5+ years leading, supervising and managing technology product development teams, including home-office, remote team members
  •           5+ years in project management
  •           Experience using agile development methodologies
  •           Experience developing online learning products and technologies
  •           Experience in product management preferred
  •           Experience in software training preferred
  •           Experience interacting with customers, strategic partners, and cross-functional groups to understand market and business needs
  •           Proven record of leading teams through product architecture and process migration for improved results
  •           Solid business judgment with ability to multitask and manage in a high volume, fast-paced environment
