SUMMARY

The SeniorManager Field Marketing will lead the go-to-market and pipeline generation efforts for Ansys throughout a specific, major sales region. This candidate will effectively collaborate with sales, managing expectations while driving results through coordinated strategy and execution of programs. will develop, manage and evolve marketing programs for the ANSYS regional sales teams. The primary objectives of the role is strategy & alignment with sales leadership and demand generation through successful campaign execution and understanding of key industry trends, strategic market opportunities and sales priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Work with the global marketing team, product marketing and sales management to build a strong marketing plan within the specific region and GTM segments, in order to support the planned business growth
* Drive closed loop sales and marketing process by managing regional lead operations to ensure quality lead flow, optimize lead follow-up and data quality for reporting
* Lead a team of high-performing individual contributors, including Field Marketing Managers and Specialists to consistently deliver on key priorities
* Plans demand generation marketing programs to grow sales pipeline for the sales organization
* Executes strategic global marketing campaigns and industry campaigns
* Monitor lead flow within the territory to ensure the appropriate sales channels are receiving and following up on leads

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree required
* A minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing; with field marketing experience in B2B technology markets
* Proven ability to work closely and successfully with a sales organization
* Proven ability to successfully execute a variety of marketing programs, including targeted direct mail and email, field events, social media, executive engagements, awareness campaigns
* Experience with marketing automation systems to successfully run campaigns
* Strong analytics, reporting, and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
* Experience in B2B and B2C demand generation environment preferred
* Ability to travel up to 25%
* Ability to earn trust through performance and relationship-building
* Prior experience working in a technical business setting with engineers or in engineering simulation is a plus
