About the Role:

  • Our team is passionate about driving foundational services that are integral for success across the entire organization. We're looking for someone to help us envision and build those core services that underpin all Thomson Reuters' products.

  • This role is in the Shared Capabilities organization and is part of the team responsible for implementing transformative capabilities in Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM). We're modernizing the way customers access nearly every product and service offered by Thomson Reuters.

  • As an integral member of the CIAM team, you will rally multiple teams on their journey in building enterprise-ready capabilities and naturally be an approachable, collaborative, & transparent team member.

  • As Product Owner, you will be responsible for ensuring the Engineering team is building services that support the Product/Business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Owner on the CIAM Platform scrum teams and ownership of the product backlog.

  • Work with the product manager to ensure that the roadmap for the working quarter is well understood by the team and break them down into epics and features for the backlog.

  • Ensure that the product backlog is up to date and prioritized with stories to keep the engineering team effective and fully occupied.

  • Collaborate with teams to provide product release updates and status to stakeholders at the end of every sprint.

  • Publish release notes according to the release cadence and communicate them to customers.

  • Share the responsibility of maintaining product-relevant documentation and publishing monthly updates with the product manager.

  • Building simple yet efficient workflows in synergy with the technology team as the customer's voice leading to a fantastic customer experience.

About You

At a minimum you would need these to be successful in this role:

  • At least 2 years experience as a product owner on a technology product.

  • Should possess solid experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, CIAM, or enterprise platform solutions.

  • Should possess solid experience developing APIs or enterprise-level software that uses APIs in the backend.

  • Good technical understanding of cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, and the services offered by these cloud platforms

  • Good understanding of agile models and scrum processes.

  • Know how to influence the technology team to deliver a great customer experience without having any real authority.

  • Understand the difference between building "software" and "enterprise-ready software".

Preferred Qualifications:

These are not mandatory, but having them will definitely make your profile more appealing to us:

  • Have experience with CIAM or IAM solutions with millions of active users on a daily basis

  • Have experience developing APIs with millions of requests on a daily basis

  • Worked on cloud-native technologies.

  • Have worked either as an engineer or product owner on an enterprise platform product
