Reporting to the Mainframe & Midrange Services Leader, this senior individual contributor is responsible for strategy, compliance documentation, technology refresh finance and contracts management, and co-owner of metrics and reporting across the mainframe and midrange platforms. Additionally, this leader will be expected to drive the development and implementation of next generation technology strategies and solutions in partnership across infrastructure, CIO and line of business teams to realize Well Fargo's business strategies. The Mainframe & Midrange organization is accountable globally for engineering and management of Wells Fargo's Mainframe/Midrange, Unisys, and AIX Platforms that support all of Wells Fargo critical ATM, Deposit, money transfer and clearing operations. These technologies and services are designed to provide a highly available (24x7x365), dependable and cost-effective platform for our business and customers. The Mainframe environment is one of the largest in the world, executing over 1.5 billion transactions per day. Though not expected to be a mainframe technology expert, the successful candidate will work with subject matter experts, leaders across the team, and control organizations to drive compliance initiatives - including patching, drift and configuration management, and vulnerability management in these critical technology spaces. The successful candidate will have roles and responsibilities that span the entire mainframe and midrange organization, and will be expected to drive results collaboratively, ease administrative pressures through simplification and automation of processes, and to communicate effectively across all levels. Ability to manage cadence of upgrades, timing of contracts, and documentation of financial impacts is key. Process management and organizational leadership skills are also essential. Required Qualifications * 7+ years of experience in business systems analysis or design as demonstrated through work, military, or education * 6 + years of technology infrastructure management experience Desired Qualifications * Deep knowledge and understanding of operation work flows/processes * Deep knowledge and understanding of governance and compliance expected from providing solutions in systems and technology domains * A BS/BA degree or higher * Finance experience * Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology roadmap development * Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills * Solid critical thinking skills * Ability to lead and operate collaboratively, execution focused, and results oriented * Strong negotiation and leadership abilities Other Desired Qualifications * 3+ years prior mainframe infrastructure experience Disclaimer All offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
