The Senior Manager leads the technical strategy and operational plans for the group spanning IoT platform (DxONE PROService), DxONE Insights and Analytics cloud products. You will lead a distributed team of highly skilled Systems Engineers/Business Analysts, Architects, Data Science Engineers, Software Developers, Software Testers and DevOps Engineers to develop and deploy Remote Connectivity and Data Analytics solutions for Beckman Coulter.If you seek an impactful leadership role and want to join an extraordinary R&D organization-read on.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Build and develop a robust development team. Champion development of employees, foster a strong talent pipeline and ensure an engaged workforce.Craft and deploy industry standard methodologies; elevate software innovation and processes across Beckman and Danaher, including but not limited to Agile/Scrum/SAFe, SDLC, Release Management, Metric Reporting, DevOps, Data and ML validations/governance.Lead the software teams in India and the United States.Direct the development of software for new, existing products and open innovation partnershipParticipate in strategic and tactical planning processes and ensures the quality of our existing product line.Utilize Danaher Business System (DBS) tools and Danaher Software System (DSS) to drive quality, compliance and effective processes.Develop, monitor and report financials and cost forecasting to ensure outstanding efficiency and harmonies via highest quality cost management of engineering operations. Provide presentations and reports on programs, costs, and critical metrics.The essential qualifications include:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and proven track record of 14+ years experience in software development with 4+ years in managerial roleExperience working on Cloud, remote connectivity / IoT and Data Science platformsHas built and led global teams to deliver innovative products in order to increase market shareStrong technical expertise in software development, architectural patterns and tradeoffs, and operations acuity, with experience leading in high growth companies that leverage IoT, Data, Cloud or SaaS/PaaS solutions (preferably in healthcare, life sciences or communication markets).Experience in building Sophisticated Analytics capabilities including Big data, ML, Cloud and IOT platforms.Ability to travel up to 25%In addition, these experiences would be useful for this role:Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related fieldExperience in healthcare IT, integration with LIS, EMR & or FDA regulated environment experienceExperience in connectivity standards HL-7/IHE, FHIRBeckman Coulter offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to associates' and their families' lives.
