Responsibilities: Provides professional speech therapy services using recognized and approved techniques and appropriate judgment to adults with a variety of communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders/disabilities. Assignments may include working with skilled nursing facility patients, senior housing tenants, outpatients, or home care patients.

Job Opening: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Woodbury, MN
Status: Hourly
Type: Part-time: 8-12 hours/week, 2-3 days/week. Open to which days of the week and/or weekend
Shift: Day

Education: Masters in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent. Must have a Minnesota Department of Health Registration and ASHA Certification. May be a CFY Supervisor

Experience: A minimum of one-year experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a skilled nursing facility is preferred

Special knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations
• Experience working with seniors in a skilled nursing facility preferred
• Ability to accurately plan and carry out assignments without direct supervision
• Proven history of good judgment, integrity and consideration to others
• High level of commitment to compassionate customer service­­
• Maintained awareness and sensitivity to client needs, interests, and abilities
