Job Description

SUMMARY

OakRiver Technology is a leading supplier of process automation equipment and equipment manufacturing services. OakRiver is seeking a Materials Coordinator to assist purchasing and inventory activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Create purchase orders for approval by Project Managers and Leadership based on engineering and planning inputs
  • Place POs, confirm and follow-up with vendors
  • Maintain a current Open Orders List
  • Work with suppliers on order confirmations and delivery dates
  • Work with Project Managers on expediting orders with suppliers
  • Assist quoting as requested
  • Update / Create new supplier folders
  • Support the maintenance of required supplier documentation
  • Support Accounts Payable with invoice and purchase order discrepancies
  • Support MRB through end of job close out duties
  • Provide back-up to inspection, calibration/preventive maintenance and shipping and receiving activities
  • Special projects as assigned
