We are seeking a confident and energetic Senior Engineer to join our search development team to be located at our office in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and will work on our development team focused on supporting and enhancing our search platform.

What You'll Do:

• Build, tune and maintain Search Engine and Relevancy Tuning Machine Learning Systems
• Cutting edge micro-services development on 'Product Data' related systems
• Work with continuous integration tools and frameworks such as Docker, Jenkins, Gradle
• Collaborate with both technical and business team members to understand requirements and develop solutions based on Bluestem Brands standards using an agile development process
• Hands-on development in an environment that embraces scalable, secure, and testable code
• Participate in code improvement activities to enhance the enterprise code base

What You'll Need:

• Strong passion and interest for Search Technology, Machine Learning, web services and high throughput technologies
• Skills with some of the following tools and technologies: Java, Kafka, Redis, IntelliJ, Jenkins, Spring Boot, and REST
• Test first, continuous integration mindset
• Experience with agile development methodologies
