Requirements:
  1. Minnesota teaching licensure in or K-12 Vocal and Classroom Music.
  2. Demonstrated success in teaching secondary students in choir and classroom music.
  3. Demonstrated success in understanding the developmental needs of middle school students.
  4. Understanding of the secondary music curriculum.
  5. Ability to actively engage all students in learning.
  6. Evidence of excellent organizational skills and written and oral communication skills.
  7. Evidence of constructive team approach to working with children.
  8. Ability to differentiate curriculum to a wide range of learners.
  9. Proven skill in forming, building, and maintaining positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
  10. Commitment and evidence of continual improvement.
  11. Attitude for and motivation to utilize emerging technology in teaching and learning.
