Position Description
FT (Monday - Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm, on call every 8th week) Chemical Dependency Specialist/Case Manager position available at a Homeless Outreach Program in Minneapolis.
Duties: This position will serve a caseload of approximately 50 clients with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI) and dual disorders (MI/CD) that are homeless. The position will provide ACT services to the clients which includes: providing case management, teaching illness management and recovery skills, developing, directing and providing other treatment and support services.
Qualifications: To qualify for this position you must have a bachelor’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or a related field and have completed 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the service of persons with mental illness and some experience with the homeless and chemically dependent population. An LADC is preferred.
