3.5 Hours per day from 10:30 - 2:00 approx. on school days
$12.73 minimum hourly pay rate


Duties & Responsibilities
Sets up and maintains point of sale area and equipment.
Responsible for monitoring student meals to determine reimbursable or ala Carte items and recording accordingly
Responsible for contacting payers to keep all accounts positive.
Prepares daily cash deposits for bank.
Prepares and maintains daily, weekly and monthly balances and reports consistent with established procedures.
Provides record of account for students, parents and staff.
Helps with preparation and cleanup as time permits.
Follows Food & Nutrition Service policies and procedures.
Works cooperatively with coworkers.
Treats all customers in a helpful, courteous manner.
Attends job-related classes and workshops as requested.


Requirements
Proficiency in computer use necessary.
Demonstrated speed and accruacy with 10-key data entry.
Ability to follow oral and written directions.
Must have basic math skills.
Must enjoy working with students.
Completion of School Food Service Fundamentals and ServSafe helpful.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position (including the ability to lift up to 40 pounds) as assessed through a preplacement physical at Ridgeview Business Health.
