Position Description

Position Overview: CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Country Operations business unit. We are looking for an Systems Support Manager to manage a team of analysts who provide problem solving support to users of the Agris software system utilized at all Agri Operations locations (approx 350 locations) within the Country Operations division. The incumbent must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the daily operations of the entire Agris support staff, both in IGH and remotely.
o Agris software applications include V9 commodity, inventory, invoicing, A/R, A/P, banks, oneWeigh, bulkWeigh, AgroGuide, Maps, FuelConnect, Energy Force and Active Report Writer. Also the Agris V9 interface to JDEdwards general ledger and proClarity report writer for use in reporting from the Country Operations data warehouse.
• Identify, coordinate, perform software training at new and existing locations
• Present software issues to software provider and assist in problem resolution.
o Work with JDAS (Agris) software management personnel in identifying, explaining and resolving software malfunctions experienced by CHS users.
• Work with Corporate IT in discussing CO user support and determine issues that may involve IT for resolution.
o Coordinate user issues so location personnel have a clear understanding of which of their issues are handled by the Agris team vs. CHS Corporate IT.
• Develop processes for consolidated reporting for Country Ops through the use of the data warehouse and ProClarity report writer. Develop ad-hoc ProClarity reports.
• Present systems issues at Country Ops Controller mtgs.
• Coordinate monthly Agris V9 to JDE interface. Work with location personnel in answering balancing/ reconciliation issues in preparing the Agris Interface File and work with the Support Staff and Accounting Staff in reconciling the interface files when entered into the JDE general ledger
• Maintain V9 to JDE G/L interface. Work with CHS IT in the maintenance and enhancement of the Agris System interface.
Basic Qualifications: (required)
• 4 yr. degree in AgBusiness, Business, Accounting, or other related degree program
• 7-10 years work experience, including hands-on knowledge of both operational accounting and business infrastructure.
• 5 years technical experience, requiring a thorough understanding of how databases work, and how to apply that knowledge in a broad business perspective.
• 3-5 years of Agris experience
• 3-5 years supervisory experience
