The Communications/Public Relations Department works to position Children's Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota as the pre-eminent regional provider of pediatric health care services. This department helps generate revenue as well as educate and inform a variety of audiences through relationship-building and communication. They achieve these goals by working with physicians, consumers, and employees. |

Position Summary |
|
The Interactive Communications Coordinator helps execute and supports Children's electronic media and marketing strategies. The work of this position includes maintaining the organization's Web site and social networking pages to ensure accurate and effective messaging across multiple platforms; working with internal staff to generate content, manage content, and train others as necessary to add content and generate reports; and uses web and online software analytics to drive audience analysis, enhance targeting efforts and evaluate web statistics.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Associate degree in Web Development, Communications (with technical emphasis or experience) or related field. At least 3-5 years professional experience in utilizing interactive marketing tools with some experience in communications production. Excellent writing skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and have the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities. Proficiency with Stellent Site Studio and Content Management, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Professional, and familiarity with video editing software. Familiarity with Adobe InDesign and coding XHTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Experience with broadcast email campaigns, social networking strategy, and database applications. Knowledge of Raisers Edge and its NetCommunity module is a plus. Understanding of how to utilize both proprietary and open-source solutions. |
