Design, develop, document, and implement new/existing packaging systems for use with implantable medical devices. Responsible for product development deliverables required by internal processes as well as the coordination of activities with manufacturing facilities to ensure quality implementation of packaging designs and documentation. Activities may include: Coordination and communication of packaging technology and designs with product development teams as part of the development phase review process. Participation in product team meetings. Development of packaging labels, components and assemblies. Continuation engineering activities required to support released products. Documentation activities associated with the development and qualification testing of new materials/designs. Create ECR/ECO to control the change/ release of packaging components and assemblies. Interact with Quality, Reliability, Product Designers, Marketing and Regulatory to ensure all designs meet internal and external requirements.
