Position Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Teach courses in Criminal Justice (including Juvenile Delinquency) and Child Advocacy Studies
•Normally teach four classes each semester
•Cultivate and supervise student internships
•Serve as academic advisor for Criminal Justice majors
•Serve as Director of Child Advocacy Studies
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualification(s):
•J.D. or Master’s degree in Sociology, Criminal Justice, Social Work, or Psychology by date of application.
Preferred Qualification(s):
•Ph.D., J.D. or active ABD in Sociology, Criminal Justice, Social Work or Psychology
•College level teaching experience
•Professional experience in child advocacy or criminal justice
•Demonstrated ability of scholarly activity.
The applicant should demonstrate a knowledge of and interest in diverse cultures and populations.
