Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree - Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis**

Position Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated, qualified, and client service oriented Structural Engineer specializing in bridge design.

Develop bridge design solutions integrating client objectives and design criteria, design and construction budgets, and schedule requirements.
Interact and communicate effectively with design team members, clients and other agencies.
Deliver complete and coordinated bridge project plans, specifications and construction estimates on-time and within design budget, while satisfying AASHTO codes, client-specific standards and contractual requirements.
Assure quality control activities for all bridge design and plan elements of the project.
Certify documents as required.
Participate in marketing planning and presentations.
Mentor and develop bridge design staff.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis (M.S. preferred)
Minnesota P.E. license or ability to obtain licensing within six months.
Minimum of 7 years experience in the profession with experience in structural steel, cast-in-place concrete and precast/prestressed concrete design.
Working knowledge of LRFD bridge design requirements.
Working knowledge of design and analysis computer programs and tools as related to bridge design.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to assess project staffing requirements and make appropriate project assignments
