Job Summary

Proposal administrator provides support for preparation and submission of project proposals for renewable energy projects. Organizes data received from owners, developers, general contractors for use in estimating and proposal development. Tracks project bid status, upcoming project opportunities, follows up on proposal submissions and assists Pre-construction Manager from proposal thru to hand-off to construction.



Major Job Elements:

Essential Job Duties/Major Job Elements:

  • Assist with ensuring standard processes are followed and maintained for pre-construction activities to include proposals, estimating, RFP’s to subcontractors and vendors, and project statusing;
  • Maintain logs for tracking upcoming projects as well as current proposal and bidding statistics;
  • Assist with maintaining historical data records;
  • Upload data and maintain data files in company computer system;
  • Maintain pre-bid and bid books through proposal development
  • Prepare written proposal documents to include letters, spreadsheets, resumes, statistical data, organization charts, and clarification documents;
  • Coordinate proposal meetings with internal and external customers
  • Compose email, memorandums, reports as required in support of proposal development
  • Final proposal preparation and submission to owners inclusive of mailings;
  • Filing cataloguing, recording, document checking,
  • Additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • College degree.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Technical writing background.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Experience with the following computer software - Microsoft office, Outlook, excel, word, power point, adobe, visio.

Preferred Requirements:

Knowledge of construction practices.

Experience with Contracts.
