Job Description

Summer interns will work with Senior Mechanical and Systems Engineers in the Custom Engineering Group. The interns will be working on projects and tasks surrounding the development of test systems that enhance the performance and durability of customer components or fully developed systems.
Summer Interns will learn how MTS projects are conducted and executed within a global company.Work will be mentored by Senior Mechanical Engineers, but interns will be given freedom to work in a variety of areas including:

  • Research
  • R&D for new Product Development
  • Pre-sale support
  • Customer Projects
  • Product and Warranty Support
Summer interns will experience how engineering design, analysis and CAD are used in the design process at MTS.
Tasks will include analysis, design, testing and manufacturing support.

Job Requirements

Minimum junior-level standing in an accredited engineering program (by Summer 2010).
Minimum GPA of 3.0 is desired.
