MAINTENANCE LEAD
Real Estate Equities has an immediate opening for a Lead Maintenance Technician at our 192 unit property in Brooklyn Park, to be responsible for maintaining and overseeing all aspects of property maintenance. This is a Full Time position, to work the following schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
One Saturday per month and occasional weekend turnovers
On-call rotation, every 5th week


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Be a valuable leader of an effective on-site team

  • Provide all residents with exceptional customer service

  • Oversee daily service request system and complete service requests

  • Manage preventive maintenance schedule and complete preventive maintenance

  • Maintain maintenance inventory, apartment history cards, and lighting and snow logs

  • Ensure budgetary guidelines are met, prioritize expenditures to stay within budget, assist in preparation of capital and operations budgets

  • Initiate measures to improve methods, equipment performance and quality of work

  • Oversee and perform apartment turnover duties

  • Monitor HVAC equipment


    • Desired Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years residential maintenance experience required

  • Boiler and CPO licenses required

  • Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task

  • Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs to chest height

  • Must be able to provide own basic tools for the position

  • Must have reliable transportation, and be available for a rotating on-call schedule to include multiple properties
