Responsibilities:
This is a part-time position responsible for teaching transfer-level biology courses, lectures and labs, including anatomy and physiology and general biology. Participation in discipline, division, campus and college matters through service on committees; attendance at regular meetings; and continued professional development are expected. Faculty hired may expect assignments to evening, and/or online sections. Successful candidates will possess and demonstrate the necessary skills and commitment that support one or more of the college’s strategic objectives.

This position may serve on either the Cambridge or Coon Rapids campuses of ARCC.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree with a major in biology or with 24 graduate quarter/16 semester credits in biology which would apply to the major.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preference is given to those who have experience using: 1) contemporary teaching and learning techniques; and 2) have previous teaching experience in Biology at community college or at an university.
