Position Description

The purpose of this position is to develop, design, implement and evaluate clinician training content and materials that support the safe and effective use of Neuromodulation products. These will be developed through close collaboration with Product Marketing, Product Development, Clinical, Regulatory, Medical Education, Technical Services, and key clinician customers.

Position Responsibilities

*Assess and prioritize clinician education needs as they relate to the safe and effective use of Neuromodulation products.
*Develop content and/or materials that increase clinician competency in the adoption and integration of Neuromodulation therapies and products in their clinical practices.
*Partner with Medical Education program managers in the development of core content for clinician programs.
*Manage outside vendors and budget to ensure the development of high quality education content and materials.
*Consult with Product Marketing, Product Development, Clinical, Regulatory, Technical Services, Sales Training and Field Sales to ensure content and/or materials are developed that ensure the effective application of medical education in support of business goals and objectives.
*Develop a strong content knowledge of the Neuromodulation therapies and products.
*Identify key barriers to optimal therapy and product adoption, identify knowledge gaps and develop targeted and effective strategies and tactics to address.
*Ensure that sound instructional and adult learning strategies are implemented throughout all content development.
*Responsible for developing in partnership with Program Managers, instructional content and/or materials comprised of various delivery methods including classroom, online, and job aids.
*Design and develop new training materials using the ADDIE (Assessment, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model.
*Partner with Medical Education program managers to ensure consistency of educational content, and encourage efficient knowledge transfer and behavior changes.
*Create content/materials for classroom, e-learning and a variety of delivery methods.

Basic Qualifications

4 year degree & 7 yrs adult education/instructional design and development experiences
-OR-
MS/MA/MBA and 4 yrs experience (same as above)
-AND-
Medical experience (physicians, pharma or sales training)

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

*Five (5) + years adult education/instructional design and development, preferably with developing training for technical audiences for physicians
*Proven understanding of learning and development processes and the ability to manage large, complex projects.
*Excellent communication (written and verbal)
*Ability to work independently and as part of teams
*Ability to work all levels of the organization as required.
*Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills and building relationships in a matrix organization.
