Position Description

Business Development Manager – Twin Cities Metro

Doherty Staffing Solutions, a division of Doherty Employment Group is currently seeking a Business Development Manager to accommodate continued growth and sales initiative within the Twin Cities Metro area market. The Business Development Manager will have strong company support in their efforts to build new customer relationships within the staffing industry. Responsibilities:

1. Prospect and sell utilizing inside/outside sales techniques to identify new business.
2. Maintain current knowledge of industry developments, technology and competition. Is responsible for understanding Company product and services and their application to their accounts.
3. Build relationships within assigned territory to introduce and sell Company products and services. Responsible for scheduled, proactive communications to build an understanding of the prospects current situation and needs.
4. Responsible for recording sales and service activity in company contact management software program to efficient track, manage, and continuously improve the process.
5. Manage customer base to perform to specific defined measurements which may include account growth, feature sales, and customer satisfaction.
6. Knowledge of principles and processes involved in business and organizational planning including customer retention and management systems.
7. Presenting products and services while developing territorial strategies and tactics.

Requirements:

1. College Degree in business or related field is required.
2. Must have a “hunter” sales mentality and always be seeking out new business.
