This position in our Information Systems department is responsible for managing the Electronic Medical Records Systems, including shared dictionaries/tables, database and application security, code load, release management, conversions and interfaces, and user device management. The Database/System Administrator is responsible for the control of the database configuration and the continuing technical integrity of the applications. This position also participates as needed in database query and report building activities.
The Database/System Administrator coordinates all activities associated with maintenance and changes to the Electronic Medical Record applications software environment through Gillette’s change control process. This process includes coordinating the implementation of new software releases including distribution of release notes and quality assurance testing.

Job Requirements :
Required:
Programmer/analyst or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of Windows 2000 and above required.
Knowledge of SQL required.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Required.
Knowledge of standard Network (LAN), Hardware and Software operations procedures.
Prior experience installing complex databases a plus.
Demonstrated ability to understand a variety of user disciplines and requirements.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively on an autonomous or team basis.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with users at a variety of skills levels.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with users at diverse organization levels.
Exhibits professionalism, honesty, integrity, respect for every individual, and teamwork.
Displays a high degree of initiative, energy, dedication, and innovation on a regular basis.
Preferred:
Experience with InterSystems Cache database preferred.
Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
