Overview

Compellent Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-class network storage solutions, is seeking an accounting professional to lead the preparation and analysis of both internal and external financial statements for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, SEC filings, and earnings releases.

Responsibilities

•perform reconciliations and analysis in support of the monthly close process, which includes accounting and consolidation of two international subsidiaries
•prepare monthly revenue recognition analysis
•assist with the preparation of financial presentations for executive and audit committee communications
•oversee stock-based compensation reporting system
•assist with monthly commission process
•stay abreast of all pertinent changes in GAAP and SEC reporting and communicate potential impact to company
•manage internal and external Sarbanes-Oxley efforts
•coordinate annual external audits and quarterly reviews

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, with a minimum of four years of experience with more than two years at a public accounting firm, Sarbanes-Oxley experience a must, Big 4 experience preferred, SEC reporting experience in the software industry is a plus and must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
