Overview
This position will support the development and execution of consumer engagement strategies to deliver customer value for the Wellness product suite:
* Member communications to promote good health and participation in wellness programs; self-care book, health/wellness newsletter, direct mail, email, workplace communications
* Engagement strategy and execution at the product, distribution channel, and customer level to promote consumer self-identification for enrollment in wellness programs

- Consumer engagement strategies and approaches
- Communication plans
- Insight into consumer needs and preferences
* Product P&L ownership for health self-care books and newsletters
Key Responsibilities include:
Consumer Marketing Strategy
* Develop strategy and tactical plan to drive consumer self-identified program utilization encompassing consumer identification/segmentation, messaging and medium
* Develop communications strategy and execute plan
- Determine timing and frequency for engagement
- Project utilization impact of proposed campaigns
* Provide consultation on customized engagement plans for individual customers; present plans to customers and secure buy-in
* Develop and pilot new consumer engagement approaches
* Develop consumer product positioning guidelines
* Translate consumer positioning for creative staff; develop creative briefs
- Provide copy and design direction to creative staff
- Review and approve drafts of creative materials
* Review and approve/deny messaging customization requests
* Lead and coordinate consumer research required to test product concepts and positioning
Budget Management
* Develop marketing budgets to support recommended engagement strategies; obtain budget approval, and manage spend relative to budget
* Directly manage a $.500KM budget to communicate services availability
* Review requests for incremental funding and secure approval/denial from business owner
Campaign Implementation
* Submit requirements/requests to creative agency
* Work with creative agency to ensure requests are completed correctly, professionally and in a timely manner.
* Approve projects for implementation
* Work with Operations and Work Force management staff to coordinate marketing efforts with call center staffing capacities
Product Management:
* Support sales process for self-care books and health newsletters
* Identify and implementation innovation to drive sales growth
* P&L responsibility for $5M in revenue
