Presently we are seeking a Compliance and Risk Specialist for our Corporate office in Edina. This newly created position will serve as a key member of our legal services team and specialize in compliance and risk functions. Key responsibilities will include licensing research and analysis, licensing applications and renewals, conducting corporate annual renewals, preparing various regulatory filings and managing standard insurance policies, renewals and claims. Other tasks will include establishing and maintaining risk management processes while creating, training and communicating to departments on compliance and risk matters.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in business, political science, governmental affairs or other related degree; have a minimum of two (2) years experience working in governmental, legal, insurance or general business field, be proficent Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes and the ability to juggle numerous tasks at one time. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are necessary as is handling confidential information with discretion.
