Special Instructions:
Selected individual will spend the majority of their time training others in Emergency Preparedness.

Candidates must live within 60 minutes of the nuclear plant in order to meet the Emergency Response Plan requirements.

Position Summary:
Manage the programmatic review of emergency plan exercises and scenario development for nuclear power plant.
Essential Responsibilities: Percent of Time
a) Manage the programmatic review of emergency plan exercises and scenario development. 35%
b) Assist in revision to emergency plan and associated procedures. 20%
c) Interface with state/county emergency management officials and federal regulatory agencies on EP matters. 15%
d) Aid in the conduct of drills and exercises including performance indicators. 10%
e) Assist in EP training as an a subject matter expert. 10%
f) Participate in state/county, federal, industry and peer meetings/workshops as assigned. 10%
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma and seven years of relevant commercial nuclear power plant experience, or Associates Degree and five years of relevant experience, or Bachelors degree and three years of relevant experience. Relevant experience is defined as employment in Radiation Protection, Chemistry, Operations, or Emergency Preparedness. Integrated plant knowledge and response is desired.
Selection criteria may include testing and/or assessment.
